Again, due to poor conditions, and less food further north, we may see many more of some of our winter birds, and there is a good chance of seeing new ones also. I for one will be looking for this Crossbill. We have a lot of forest and woods around where I live so I am making this my new quest!

DeleteI love crossbills! I have not had the pleasure to see the white-winged variety, but a couple of years ago, the Red Crossbills were a regular at my feeder over the winter. Haven't seen them around since though.
